Fire codes prohibit use of hallways for storage of personal belongings. They must be kept clear.

Each building may decide to set aside areas of the common space for hobby areas, bike racks/hooks, dark rooms, shop space, etc. These must conform to city codes, having the approval of each member of that building.

Smoking (including electronic vaporizers) is prohibited in halls and basement common areas.

Residents are responsible for ensuring that smoke and airborne particulate matter (from sources including but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, incense, candles, and electronic vaporizers) from their units does not infiltrate indoor common areas or other members’ units.
