====== Safety ======
  - Grilling is not permitted on fire escapes, unit balconies, or within 15 feet of any building.
  - All sources of flame or embers, including but not limited to cigarettes, are strictly prohibited on all fire escapes and balconies.
  - Waterbeds are not permitted.
  - Storage of flammable materials such as gasoline, kerosene, naphtha or explosives is strictly prohibited in the member’s unit or storage area. Use or storage of such items must be approved, in writing, by the Board of Directors for each use and each substance.
  - Residents must not permit anyone they do not know to be a current member of the cooperative to gain unattended access to the buildings.
    - Professional delivery personnel may be given access to building vestibules, but not to building interiors.
    - Unknown visitors should be directed to the buzzer panel.
    - Residents should keep their keys on them and not buzz other residents for access to the buildings. Members who have forgotten their keys should contact the management phone number posted in the vestibules.
    - Residents must not prop open or otherwise disable security doors. An exception will be made for move-ins/move-outs, provided that the doors are being monitored.
  - Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors must be maintained to legally required standards and not disabled. Detectors should be tested monthly. Management will inspect and update these devices as necessary.
